Our inmates are accommodated in cottages designed to
blend with the rural atmosphere. The design of these cottages is
simple: a large open area for the inmate’s beds and cupboards, toilets
cum bathing rooms and a small veranda. The roofs of all the dormitories
and community hall are asbestos and will be changed at a later date as
the cost of doing so is very high.
The present cottages housing
our mentally challenged inmates were put up in 1979. Over the years
we've kept repairing and rebuilding them. Most of the cottages have
